Is your dog wedding ready?

A midst the stress of planning a wedding, when we think we have thought of everything, we have made our endless lists and ticked the boxes, made more lists and ticked them too, we still can over look what is often a really, huge part of our lives. So today I am talking about our dogs, now dogs are sensitive souls with a great instinct, they have probably sat through all that Wed-min with their wet noses in your lap.

So⦠what do we do with them on the wedding day, chances are the, majority of people, that you normally entrust your pampered pooch to, is at the wedding.
Now we have seen it on T.V. cute videos of dogs being ring bearers, wearing bow ties and looking all sweet for the camera but in reality, is it really like that? You have heard the phrase about not working with children or animals, well that hasnāt just come about by accident. Pets can be very spooked by people, cameras, loud noises, talk about a sensory overload. Dogs especially like routine and a wedding letās face it, the first thing on our mind is not usually āwalkiesā, itās hair make up, white dresses, which of course donāt mix well with muddy paws.

Well I am especially delighted to introduce as part of our āworking together Wednesdayā Follow my lead pet sitting services, run by Georgia and stealing the show, her four-legged co-worker Milo.
Georgia started her dog walking business a little while ago and is already thriving on recommended business, sheās passionate about animals not just dogs, is fully insured, DBS checked and is dog first aid trained ( did I know that existedā¦er no) So thereās loads of dog walkers about, right?

Well yes there is but what follow my lead offer is completely different, they do bespoke packages for you, which can even include, walks prior to the wedding to get to know your pooch, bath time, yes you heard it, they will have your doggie wedding ready. In addition to this they can pet sit for the event, or can simply be by your dogs side at the event, ensuring they feel secure and safe.

My feature bride Emily, see our earlier blog Real bride, Real wedding will be using Follow my lead services at her summer wedding for her beloved Biscuit, a delightful albeit demanding Chug (Chiwawa crossed with pug). Which by the way, I canāt wait to see him in his bespoke outfit made by another supplier to be featured soon.
